USA Hockey Across America and

US Figure Skating National Skating Month!

  

The Hockey Staff and Volunteers at the Channel Islands Ice Center are eager to share their passion for this game to youth all across Ventura County.  They welcome future hockey players of all skill levels, including youth who have never been on ice, willing to give this exhilarating game a try.  At this event, hockey coaches will introduce local youth to skating, stick and puck handling, shooting and the session will end with a short pick-up game.  The rink has loaner equipment and skates available for all participants at no charge.

The “It’s Great To Skate” carnival welcomes both potential and current skaters to a day of skill introduction and development, education and motivation. This event will allow local youth to experience figure skating and learn the basics from professional instructors in a fun-filled environment.

The Channel Islands Ice Center’s Skating School will unleash a Carnival of games, prizes, face painting and more for children of all ages to experience the fun and excitement of Figure Skating.  Join the rink’s wonderful staff of Professionals and Volunteers from 1:30 to 3:30PM.  Please print the IT’S GREAT TO SKATE COUPON
